Michael V. has recovered from the coronavirus disease, the comedian announced on Monday, August 10, through his latest vlog.
In the vlog, the comedian thanked everyone who supported and prayed for him throughout his ordeal.
“Sa ngayon, tapos na yung quarantine ko at masasabi kong okay na, nakarecover na ako,” said Michael V.
He also expressed his gratitude to healthcare workers who tirelessly attend to those who tested positive for COVID-19 just like him, creating an illustration inspired by what many have dubbed the country's “modern heroes.”

He also urged the public to likewise show their support to frontliners who are risking their lives while battling the COVID-19 pandemic.
Tulungan po natin sila,” he added.
In the video, Michael V. also shared that one of his children also experienced COVID-19 symptoms, such as fever and diarrhea, but fortunately tested negative from the virus.
Michael V. first revealed on July 20 that he tested positive for COVID-19.
According to Michael, he started having flu-like symptoms on July 11 and decided to isolate himself. He had a swab test at St. Luke’s Medical Center on July 15 and got the dreadful news on July 18.
Michael, otherwise known as “Bitoy,” was just one of the celebrities who got infected with COVID-19. Others included Christopher de Leon, Iza Calzado, Sylvia Sanchez, and Niña Jose.
