After his band Juan Karlos released their first ever studio album Diwa earlier this year, singer Juan Karlos Labajo followed it up with the release of their latest single “BLESS Ü” online via digital and streaming platforms last July. His latest single touches on keeping positive and resilient in times of adversity and global pandemic.

On his social media accounts last August 9, the 19-year-old singer shared that part of the proceeds they will receive for "BLESS Ü” will go to a good cause. He wrote, “To all those wishing to help our fight against COVID-19, we are currently facing challenges in pipelining our financial support to the UP-PGH Bayanihan Na! Foundation. This wonderful collective of doctors and volunteers are spearheading the fight against ending this terrible pandemic.

“You can still help support our fight by either donating or by simply streaming BLESS Ü on your preferred platforms. We’ll update you all once we get things up and running on @juankarlosband account where you can directly support this effort. #BLESSÜ

He wrote, “We will be donating a portion of the stream revenue of BLESS Ü to UP-PGH BAYANIYAN NA! FOUNDATION. They provide Swab Testing - which is the most accurate method of testing, They help fund the blood donation from COVID survivors, and they also provide PPEs and overall gears for our frontliners. Join the fight against COVID-19 by streaming the song.

“EVERY STREAM HELPS.”

Sharing a photo of himself and girlfriend Maureen Wroblewitz in his most recent Instagram post, JK also shared that they will be giving away specially made face masks to coincide with the recent release of their new song. “As an appreciation, the limited edition of BLESS Ü masks will be given out soon. Watch out, honey! And God #BLESSÜ.

“Out now on all digital streaming platforms.”
