“It’s a different situation. This is life and death. This is being sick. Your livelihood is being taken away from the ABS-CBN shutdown, my fitness business — the gym — is at stake because of the lockdown. It taught me how to be more resilient. And this situation taught me how fast things can be taken away from you.,” sabi ni Gerald.

“Every day is not guaranteed eh. Ito talaga ‘yung literal na we really don’t know what can happen tomorrow. We don’t know what can happen you know like sino ba ang pwedeng magkasakit tomorrow. And I learned how to appreciate time more and appreciate the people around me. You know, just appreciate and not take for granted everything that I’ve achieved,” ani Gerald.

You know, they’re in the province — ‘yung mom ko is in GenSan. ‘Yung dad ko nasa Zambales. My brother stays here with me. I just came back from  almost three weeks lock-in taping from A Soldier’s Heart. We had our own bubble. It’s good na they’re not here because they won’t be exposed when I come home,” saad ni Gerald.

“Although I did all the testing. You know, all the process para maging safe. But at the end of the day, you’ll never know. I’m still here being able to work and still being able to produce quality show for all our supporters and audience even during this pandemic and this lockdown,” pagbabahagi ni Gerald.

“I’ll be very honest. It was a very hard situation because everyone was exposed when were there. But everyone was motivated because we know that we’re doing something good for our supporters, you know. I think ABS is the best at finding ways to give back to people who support us,” ani Gerald.
