MLD, K-pop group MOMOLAND’s management, recently shared the news that the girls have donated feminine hygiene products to those in need.
According to news site Herald Economy, last July 30, the 6-member group visited Good Neighbors, an international humanitarian development non-profit organization that was founded in Korea, to donate 1,500 packs of organic feminine hygiene products for children in low-income families.
“We hope this donation is of at least a bit of help to these growing children. We also hope that our feelings of support and encouragement are conveyed to those who are facing difficult situations. In the future, we will continue to work towards being a group that can spread a positive influence,” the group stated through their agency.
Good Neighbors general manager of marketing Hwang Sung Joo, gave a message to MOMOLAND, saying, “I want to thank MOMOLAND for donating to become of strength to young females from low-income families who are facing hardships due to financial difficulties. Good Neighbors will continue to support the healthy growth of young females from low-income families with not only feminine hygiene products, but also professional counseling treatment and mentoring.”
Last June, MOMOLAND dropped a special album titled Starry Night. The record includes three new songs from the six-piece act, including its title track, "Pinky Love," and "Chiri Chiri."
MOMOLAND, which debuted in 2016, is known to Filipinos for their hits “Bboom Bboom” and BAAM”.
The group inked their ABS-CBN contract in October 2019, leading to a string of appearances on Kapamilya network shows.
