With many still doubting about her statements about her alleged shares or stocks with ABS-CBN during a noise barrage held last Saturday, July 18, Angel Locsin has decided to put an end to all the insinuations once and for all.

In a statement posted on her Instagram story, the Kapamilya star responded to a fan who asked why her name is included in the list of the network’s Top 100 stockholders.

Angel, whose real name is Angelica Colmenares, is at the ninth spot of the list. According to the Iba ‘Yan host, her shares with the company are “subscribed shares” and not “issued shares.”

Explaining the difference between the two, she wrote: “Issued share capital is the value shares actually held by investors while subscribed share capital is the value (that) shared investors promised to buy when they are released."

But this isn’t the first time Angel has spoken on the issue. Back in February, she also addressed Vivian Velez for posting bout her inclusion in the said list.

“Sorry to disappoint some people, but money is not everything. Hindi ko ho alam kung anong intention ni Ms. Vivian sa kanyang post, pero kung ito po ang gagamitin to discredit my name and what I stand for, hindi nyo po kailangang gawing issue. Kapag kumita po ang aking maliit na investment sa ABS-CBN, I will donate everything to charity. Accounted,” she stated in a post back in February.

I saw some posts and been reading accusations that were thrown at me for speaking up for what I think is right. Just to clear things up, 1) I am not part of any political party, nor representing any politician. 2) I do not have an existing contract with ABS-CBN. Therefore, the company has no control on whatever I want to post. 3) Sorry to disappoint some people, but money is not everything. Hindi ko ho alam kung anong intention ni Ms. Vivian sa kanyang post, pero kung ito po ang gagamitin to discredit my name and what I stand for, hindi nyo po kailangang gawing issue. Kapag kumita po ang aking maliit na investment sa ABS-CBN, I WILL DONATE EVERYTHING TO CHARITY. Accounted. Again, money is not everything. (For your knowledge, Maliit lang po ito. As in. It’s a privilege offer of the company to some of their employees in installment plan. Mine is payable for 5 years.

She went on: “Again, money is not everything. (for your knowledge, maliit lang po ito. As in. It’s a privilege offer of the company to some of their employees in installment plan. Angel Locsin also engaged in a word war with GMA-7 screenwriter Suzette Doctolero who accused her of lying about her alleged shares with ABS-CBN. The latter posted on Twitter a screenshot from a statement that ABS-CBN supposedly submitted to the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) last June.

Angel Locsin has been one of the most active celebrities voicing out her support for ABS-CBN amid the network’s fight for a new broadcast franchise.

The 35-year-old actress cited her support for the ordinary workers of the media conglomerate as the main reason for leading the way.
