Jane de Leon took to social media to express her support for the embattled ABS-CBN and stressed that she stands in solidarity with its employees, who are currently facing retrenchment following the decision of the House committee not to give the network a new franchise.

And I will forever be thankful sa ABS-CBN and its management,” she posted on her Instagram.

The actress stressed that her support for the network is not just measured by joining the rallys organized to appeal and to call for the return of the media giant on television and radio.

“My support to the current crisis that the network is facing right now is not just measured by going out in the streets in this time of pandemic.

She also pointed out that the risk of the current health crisis is very much prevalent.

“However, let us not forget that in the bigger picture, we are still at risk because we all have an invisible enemy to deal with. Our health and that of our loved ones are at stake. As the COVID infection rate in our country continues to rise, hospitals and facilities are nearing, if not reached, full capacity,” she stated.

The Darna star also stated that she is concerned for the plight of the frontliners.

“Let’s not forget that our frontliners continue to face life and death situation as they are being challenged in saving more lives.

The Kapamilya star added that "we can show support in many ways."

She continued, "Let us not be judgmental and imposing on what others should do according to personal standards and beliefs.

Jane also remarked that the little things we do can go a long way when it comes to helping other people.

"Let’s continue to do better to improve ourselves and continue helping those in need. Everyone is capable of this. Even a little goes a long way.
