Tickets to Green Day’s rescheduled PH concert now back on sale

The tickets to the rescheduled concert of Green Day are now back on sale. 

On Facebook on Thursday, July 16,

live events producer MMI Live announced that concertgoers may now book their seats for the American rock band’s 2021 Manila show through smtickets.com.


Green Day was originally scheduled to hold a concert on March 14, 2020 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay. However, due to the coronavirus threat, the show was postponed to March 13, 2021.

Aside from Manila, Green Day will be making stops in Taipei, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Seoul, Tokyo, Osaka and Singapore next year.

Below are the new dates of Green Day’s Asia 2021 tour.

Manila - March 13, 2021
Taipei - March 16, 2021
Hong Kong - March 19, 2021
Bangkok - March 21, 2021
Seoul - March 24, 2021
Tokyo - March 26, 2021
Tokyo - March 27, 2021
Osaka - March 29, 2021
Singapore - April 1, 2021

This is the first time Green Day will be performing in the Philippines. 

The show is part of the their world tour promoting their new  album, "Father of All Mother F------,” which was released last February 7.

The record follows 2016's "Revolution Radio."

The band is best known for their albums "Dookie" and "American Idiot.” Among their hits include “Wake Me Up When September Ends,” “Boulevard of Broken Dreams,” “Basket Case,” “When I Come Around,” “Jesus of Suburbia,” and “American Idiot.”
