Sam Milby returns to work after lockdown

After being stuck at home due to the coronavirus pandemic for more than three months, Kapamilya star Sam Milby is finally back at work.

On Instagram on Friday, July 10, actess Loren Burgos shared a behind-the-scene photo with Sam from the taping of ABS-CBN’s upcoming series, “Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin.”

The 36-year-old actor is one of the lead stars of the show, which also stars Jodi Sta. Maria, Iza Calzado, and Maricel Soriano.

Sam previously confirmed that they have resumed shooting for “Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin” in an Instagram post where he expressed his sadness over the Congress’ decision to deny a new broadcast franchise for his home network, ABS-CBN.

This past week started with so much promise: the blessing of our taping resuming, feeling the first hints of "normal" since the panedemic started. But the last two days... its been hard to know what to feel, let alone what to say. To be honest, I'm still in disbelief with the decision that was made and the volumes it speaks about the future of our nation. I have so much respect and admiration for the ABS-CBN Bosses and how they handled the hearings with humility, respect, and willingness to grow. This is still hard to accept, and the challenges appear unsurmountable but we have an even bigger God and I put my faith in Him. Babangon uli tayo Kapamilya ❤️💚💙 #ForeverGratefulAsAKapamilya

Just a few days ago, Sam became the subject of headlines after Filipino-German model Clint Bondad revealed that he sent the actor a direct message on Instagram, asking if he wants to become his “client.”

Sam is currently in a relationship with Clint’s ex-girlfriend, Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray. They confirmed being a couple last May—though rumors of a romance between them have been brewing since December 2018—or three months after the Filipina-Australian beauty queen announced his split with Clint.
