Helmed by Filipino-American indie director Marcia Chavez, the film — titled “Turncoat” — also stars Italian actress Annaluisa Capasa.

According to Mon, the film will follow the story of a mild-mannered man who lives a happy and quiet life with his Italian wife in LA [Los Angeles]. But things take a sudden turn when mysterious people started telling him he was a former hitman in Manila.

The synopsis adds that his character was charged as someone else for whom they’ve been looking. The question: Is this a case of mistaken identity or he has a history no one knows about? He must confront his violent past.

Meanwhile, the South Korean film “The Golden Holiday” — directed by Kim Bong-han — also stars Kwak Do-won and Kim Sang-ho.
