Following a series of bashing due to her comments over ABS-CBN’s closure during an online protest on Facebook with her fellow Kapamilya celebrities, Kim Chiu posted her response on Instagram.
"Sa classroom, may batas. Bawal lumabas.
The 30-year-old Kapamilya celebrity, who was trying to compare the implementation of the National Telecommunications Commission’s (NTC) cease and desist order against ABS-CBN with classroom rules, was not able to get her message across to her followers.
This then led to a series of bashing online — making the “Love Thy Woman” star top Twitter’s local trending list.
But instead of clapping back at her bashers, the Kapamilya star said in her latest Instagram post, “Maraming salamat sa lahat ng nakinig at umunawa sa amin kagabi. Thank you for choosing kindness, empathy and compassion!

ABS-CBN News, on the other hand, cleared out that the artcard allegedly quoting Kim Chiu’s remarks that are currently making rounds online did not came from them.
