Ivana Alawi donated to various communities in Taguig, Mandaluyong, and Quezon City.
Ivana Alawi, inarguably one of the biggest local content creators on YouTube right now, donated relief packs to those in need in places like Taguig, Mandaluyong, and Quezon City amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 23-year-old Kapamilya celebrity, in a YouTube vlog, documented the preparations of her relief pack operations where she also recruited the help of her mom and siblings Mona and Hashim.
According to the Sino Ang May Sala? star, the continuous outpouring of blessings in her life motivated her to start the donation drive.
“Ngayon itong mga blessings na i-sheshare natin is not just from me. It’s from all of us — you, my family, and of course kay God kasi siyempre bine-bless niya tayo,” she said.
She added: “Ang point ko to do this is not to brag. Hindi ako pumupunta dito para mag-video tapos ipapakita sa inyo na parang ‘O tingnan mo ‘yung ginawa ko. Tingnan mo ‘yung ganito.’ Gusto ko lang maka-inspire. Malay mo sa video na ito na may ma-inspire na lahat pala tayo pwedeng tumulong in our own little ways.”
Meanwhile, the “Sana All” singer also commended her sister Mona for being passionate about helping other people at such a young age.
“Marunong na siya sa [tumulong] sa buhay ng mga taong nangangailangan,” she said.
