Sharon, Regine, Sarah voice out support for ABS-CBN amid shutdown

<p>Three of the biggest names in the Philippine music industry have voiced out their support for ABS-CBN as the network was forced to halt its television and radio operations following the National Telecommunications Commission's "cease and desist" order on Tuesday, May 5.<p>Megastar Sharon Cuneta, who has been a Kapamilya for a greater part of her 42-year showbiz career, stressed the impact of the closure on the 11,000 workforce of the Lopez-owned broadcasting company.<p>"Iniisip at inaalala naming artists ng aming tahanan, ang ABS-CBN, ang ilampung-libong empleyadong lumaki nang kasama ko, at ang mga batang bagong empleyado pa lamang ng aming istasyon... You are all in my heart and prayers. We love our home. And some people have made us homeless now... May God bless us all," Sharon wrote on Instagram.
