"About to hire Shawie as my intern since she needs the work," said Frankie in a Twitter post on Wednesday, May 6, a day after her mother's home network was forced to halt its broadcast operations following a cease and desist order from the National Telecommunications Commission due to its lapsed franchise.
The company's franchise expired on May 4, while bills of its franchise renewal, some filed since 2016, remain pending in Congress.
Responding to the tweet, Sharon said: Yes please! Gimme stuff to do and you won't have to pay me! In fact, why do I get the feeling that I might be the only intern in the world who will fund her boss' projects?! I love you! Please gimme a JOB!"
"whoa there overachiever," Frankie again replied. "haha chill kid work ur way up the ladder."
Sharon, 54, has been a Kapamilya for a greater part of her 42-year showbiz career. Among her previous projects under ABS-CBN include "Sharon", "'Star Power," "Your Face Sounds Familiar," and "The Voice Kids." At present, she occasionally appears on the Sunday variety show "ASAP Natin 'To."
