After a busy month of helping raise funds to collect supplies like face masks for frontliners, Pia Wurtzbach has not slowed down in her efforts to help support the fight against the COVID-19 virus. Last May 4, Pia shared with her more than 10 million Instagram followers step-by-step instructions on how to make face shields that they can donate to more people in the community.
She wrote,
“Hi guys! Take a look at this easy DIY face shield! Our community frontliners brave the threat of disease daily so we can enjoy the comforts that their sacrifices afford us. Let's show gratitude to our deliverymen, security guards, supermarket cashiers, and other frontline workers by keeping them protected.
I've included the instructions on how to make these acetate face shields so you can DIY at home: Swipe left! Don’t forget to still wear your face mask under the shield.
