During an interview with MJ Felipe for his new online show called “Gabing-Gabi Vice,” comedian Vice Ganda opened up about how his boyfriend Ion Perez helped him to be at peace throughout the entire quarantine period.

Admitting that he has been enjoying his time with Ion, whom he is currently living with, Vice said he helped him overcome his anxieties and fears during these trying times.

“I’m enjoying the time with him so much. Itong pagka-lockdown ko with him is a big help for me — sa aming dalawa, feeling ko. Lahat tayo nangangamba. Lahat tayo natatakot,” the It's Showtime host said.

Admitting he would rather tell Ion his own problems rather than make his mother feel worried, the 44-year-old comedian revealed he is at ease showing his vulnerable side to his boyfriend — even crying to him from time to time.

Kasi baka lalo sila manghina. Baka sila rin matakot for you.

Meanwhile, Vice also talked about his frontliner-sister, a doctor, whom he said makes him so much proud because of his sacrifices amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Yes I’m so proud of her.

He added: “Pero this time, ipinangangalandakan ko siya.

Vice also commended his sister for being able to pull off a smile despite the challenges she’s facing on the frontlines — including hours and hours of wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) and the constant risk of being exposed to a COVID-19 patient.

So ang init. Pero may picture siya na nakangitid. Di ba? Paano mo nakakayanan ‘yun? Proud na proud ako,” he stated.
