Isa ang 2016 Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival entry na Pamilya Ordinaryo sa mga bagong mapapanood soon sa Netflix.

Ang Cinemalaya entry din ang isa sa mga pelikulang humakot ng parangal ng ipinalabas ito noong 2016. Kabilang na dito ang Best Editing, Best Actress, Best Director at Best Film. Nasungkit din ng 12th Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival entry ang Best Actress award sa Asia Pacific Screen Awards at FAP Awards.

Kasama rin sa 2016 Cinemalaya best film ni Edruardo Roy Jr sina Maria Isabel Lopez, Sue Prado, Ruby Ruiz, Moira Lang, Karl Medina, Erlinda Villalobos at ang namayapang si Menggie Cobarrubias.
