With the coronavirus (COVID-19) disease being highly-contagious, wearing a mask is important especially when going out of the house to buy essential needs.

While the government has been consistently reminding the public to wear a mask to help prevent the spread of the disease, some people seem to be dismissing the consequence of not using one during this crisis.

ABS-CBN, through its “Ligtas Pilipinas sa COVID-19” advocacy, launched a new campaign called “Mask Is A Must” highlighting why #MasOkPagNakaMask. Several Kapamilya celebrities have participated in the said campaign.

Sunshine Cruz, Ara Mina, John Arcilla, Rowell Santiago, Arlene Muhlach, Yves Flores, Kim Molina, as well as Star Hunt artists Argel Saycon and Hasna Cabral shared on Instagram photos of themselves wearing masks.

“For everyone’s safety, wearing a face mask is a must. Always remember to wear one when going out of your house. Take care, stay at home and stay healthy everyone,” Sunshine Cruz wrote in her post.

Manalig, magdasal. Kapit, Kapamilya.”
