‘The King: Eternal Monarch’ marks Lee Min-ho’s first project in over three years.

After weeks of anticipation, Netflix has finally released the official trailer for the romantic fantasy drama The King: Eternal Monarch starring Lee Min-ho, Kim Go-eun, and Woo Do-han. 

The King: Eternal Monarch follows the story of King Lee Gon and a police inspector named Jung Tae-eul from two parallel universes. They meet each other after the former goes on a mission to close the gateway between the two dimensions.

The said project, which premieres on Netflix this April 17, marks Lee Min-ho’s first project in over three years. His last project was the documentary DMZ, The Wild. 

Meanwhile, Kim Go-eun, who is famously known for her roles in the TV series such as Cheese and the Trap and Goblin, did a film with Jung Hae-in called Tune in for Love back in 2019.
