Weeks after embarking on a humanitarian effort following the enhanced community quarantine in Luzon, comedienne Pokwang, together with her husband Lee O’Brian, is carrying on with relief efforts — going all out not only for the frontliners, but also the stranded families amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
On Instagram Lee O’Brian shared photos and videos of sacks of rice, boxes of canned goods, and other relief donations getting loaded into a truck.
Members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) personally went to their house in Antipolo, Rizal to pick up the relief goods.
The actor wrote: “Helping out the frontliners with rice and food for the stranded families. Special thank you to AW1C Tibayan and the members of the Philippine Air Force for making this happen!”
In a separate video on Instagram, Pokwang shared: “Ingat po and God bless you all frontliners.”
Pokwang has previously donated to frontline officers at various checkpoints in Metro Manila.
