Kathryn Bernardo is now an animal welfare advocate

It looks like animal lover and pet owner Kathryn Bernardo is now a full on animal welfare advocate. Last March 1, photographer Gia Lara shared photos of her recent pictorial with the Kapamilya actress and local animal welfare group Compassion and Responsibility for Animals (CARA) through the @petograpiya Instagram account. In the pictorial, Kathryn is seen wearing various CARA advocacy shirts and posing with different rescued animals.

Kathryn has long been known as an animal lover and loving fur mom to multiple furbabies at home like Tala, Cloud, Kaia, and Summer.

This was the day I became a #kathniel fan. My first volunteer work for 2020 is this photoshoot with Kathryn Bernardo @bernardokath x CARA @carawelfareph ❤️ Anything that I know will push awareness and spread love for pets most especially for puspins and aspins, I’m totally up for. What I will always treasure about this experience was how Kath really wanted to be close to these adorable beings, even if we were afraid in case she gets scratched in the process. It went smoothly and we were done in just 30 minutes!
