The creator of the hit Netflix zombie series ‘Kingdom’ is down for eight more seasons.
The hit South Korean Netflix series Kingdom is back on Netflix for its second season — and Filipino viewers just can’t seem to get enough of it — topping Netflix Philippines’ most-watched list from time to time.
With only six episodes per season, fans are hoping to see more of the action-packed show in the coming years. And as it turns out, its show creator feels the same way — hoping the Joseong Dynasty-set series would get renewed for another season.
When asked during an interview with select entertainment press from the Philippines if the show is getting a third season, writer Kim Eun-hee said she hopes the show won’t just get one but a whopping ten more seasons.
“As you all know, production of Season 3 is dependent on the success of Season 2. If you support and love Season 2, I’m sure we’ll be able to bring you Season 3 with a greater world. I personally hope that the series continues all the way to Season 10,” she said.
