Alanis Morissette has decided to reschedule her shows due to COVID-19.
Alanis Morissette announced the postponement of her concert tour due to safety concerns in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dubbed Jagged Little Pill Tour, the list of the “Ironic” hitmaker’s canceled stops include Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and her highly-anticipated two-day show in Manila.
“The safety and health of everyone comes first. Unfortunately the upcoming shows in Japan, Manila, Australia & New Zealand are being rescheduled for later dates,” she wrote in her tweet.
The 45-year-old American-Canadian singer-songwriter reassured her fans that she will announce the new dates soon.
“Please hang on to your tickets (except Bluesfest in Byron Bay), details to come soon for the rescheduled shows,” she added.
Sharing love and light to her fans, she wrote in another tweet: “Take care of yourself, of each other. I love you.”
As of writing, Ovation Productions has yet to announce the rescheduled dates of her new shows.
Alanis Morissette is only one of the many artists around the world who have canceled tours due to ongoing threats of COVID-19.
