Kim Chiu responds to a netizen criticizing her being active on social media after the shooting incident.
Kim Chiu clapped back at a netizen who was questioning her behavior and reaction following the shooting incident last March 4 in Quezon City. The netizen criticized Kim for being active on social media after the ambush.
On Instagram the netizen wrote, "If I'm ambushed I'll be inactive for quite some time. Mga aksidente suntukan ok lang move on agad pero pag ambush? Iba tama nun if legit ambush. Kahit na abisuha ako ng boss na ok lang yan etc., buhay mo 'yan, di nila buhay 'yan."
The netizen added, "Maging vigilant ako [maging] mapagmatiyag. Malay mo dito sa soc med andito ang may plano kaya [lie-low] muna. Pero ikaw bilis sa'yo, post2X, galing. Hope lahat ng na-ambush pareho simo ka gahi (pareho sa 'yo ang tibay)."

In response, Kim said, "It's because I'm not scared. The bullet is not for me. I'm happy I'm alive and that's more important than waste your time being an ‘investigator’ keme."
On March 4, two unidentified men shot at Kim’s van while the actress was on her way to work. Fortunately, the actress was lying down and avoided the bullets that time.
"I was asleep inside my car then I heard several gunshots, 8 to be exact. I was shocked and ask my driver what happened, then I saw this bullet on the windshield where my head was laying buti nakahiga ako. Paano kung tinuloy ko magbasa ng script?... I was so scared, I don't know what to feel right now. Wala naman akong kaaway or ka atraso. Why me?" she wrote on Instagram on the day of the ambush.
Authorities have already been investigating the incident.
