Dara — an artist trained under SM’s competitor YG Entertainment — visited SM Entertainment to see Kim Ye-rim or Yeri.

While she has no bad blood with SM, she admitted that she felt as if she was inside the “enemy’s camp” as soon as she entered the base of some of Korea’s biggest girl groups.

SM is home to K-Pop girl groups such as Girls’ Generation and Red Velvet.

"I don't know if I should be here. I feel like I'm in the enemy's camp,” Dara said.

Apart from purchasing official merchandise of groups such as EXO and SuperM for her friends, Dara also visited the coffee shop located inside the building.

Upon seeing that there were emoji macaroons sold inside the café, she said: "This is awesome. Our company has to learn things like this from SM Entertainment."

At one point, Dara and Yeri entered a pink room which amused the former 2NE1 member.

As soon as she sat down with Yeri, Dara said: "I feel like I'm in a land of hope and dreams. I love the shops outside. I realized that SM Entertainment is very pinkish everywhere."

She added: "YG Entertainment's building is either all white or black. It's not colorful like this place at all.”

Dara, who first rose to fame in the Philippines through the ABS-CBN reality search Star Circle Quest, went on to become a K-Pop star. She debuted as a member of 2NE1 — a girl group under SM Entertainment whose other members include Bom, CL, and Minzy — in 2009.
