Kakai Bautista happy to join the cast of ‘Four Sisters Before the Wedding’

In Star Cinema’s latest prequel offering this year, Kakai Bautista gets to play a role that was not part of the original 2013 hit film Four Sisters and a Wedding. The film Four Sisters Before the Wedding also gives her the chance to work again with her good friend in real life and fellow comedienne Cai Cortez.

Pero dahil sinasabi naming lahat na sobrang bonded namin on and off cam, nakatulong kami sa isa’t isa,” she said,

The talented comedienne announced that she had fully recovered from the COVID-19 virus September and is happy to finally get the chance to start working again.

Una grateful tapos natakot ako kasi nga first time ulit mag-wo-work tapos pandemya. Paano tayo gagalaw?” she shared.

While doing lock-in shooting for the film which started last October even with the ongoing pandemic, Kakai said she was able to have some realizations of the positive side of working in the new normal.

At least kumbaga, bumalik tayo to square one kasi natuto kami ulit. Wala kaming kasamang PA, kailangan magtulungan kami.

The 42-year-old actress said that being together even after work brought their entire cast closer to each other.

“Ang galing noh, para tayong nag-aaral ulit tapos yung mga kasama pa namin magkakasama, yung barangay 12th floor namin sobrang saya pati yung mga crew, lahat, walang tapon. Ganun kasi kami kasaya. I think na ganun lalabas. Ang saya nila, from the crew hanggang kay direk at sa mga artista, sobrang solid. Alam namin na happy kaming lahat kasi may trabaho kami and then yung sistema na ginawa ng Star Cinema for the movie para sa pandemic movie na ito ay sobrang solid. Sobrang nakatulong sa aming lahat and siguro talagang blessed lang kaming lahat na nabigyan kami ng opportunity to do this iconic film,” she added.
