Playing the role of fanatical high school fan girl Jane in the Metro Manila Film Festival Best Picture winner Fan Girl was a big leap for Charlie Dizon who is still on a high after starring in the prequel Four Sisters Before the Wedding earlier this year.

Even after her film raked in almost all the major awards at the MMFF awards night, Charlie said she does not want her parents to watch the film, which includes intimate scenes between her and co-star Paulo Avelino.

The 24-year-old actress said Paulo treated her very well on and off the set of their film.

After screenshots of Paulo in the film surfaced online, Charlie said she hopes the audiences will still patronize and support their film.

Kasi minsan yung photos na ganun na-a-out of context sa mismong story.
