Kris Bernal and Perry Choi

Kris Bernal got engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Perry Choi, in February. The chef and businessman popped the big question to the actress during his birthday bash in Quezon City, which Kris herself organized. The two have been dating for more than three years.


 

Laura Lehmann and Von Pessumal

Miss World Philippines 2017 Laura Lehmann and San Miguel guard Von Pessumal announced their engagement last May. The couple has been together for five years. They first met when Von was still part of the Ateneo Blue Eagles while Laura was serving as the university's courtside reporter during the Season 77 and 78 of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines.

 

Mo Twister and Angelika Schmeing

Last May, host and disc jockey Mo Twister and his longtime partner, fellow DJ Angelika Schmeing. grabbed headlines after announcing their engagement. Mo proposed during an episode of his podcast show, Good Times With Mo, in which he had his producer pretend to be a caller and help him pop the question to Angelika. Mark Herras and Nicole Donesa

Actor Mark Herras and beauty queen-turned-actress Nicole Donesa confirmed their engagement last June. On his Instagram page, Mark shared a black-and-white photo showing Nicole’s engagement ring with the caption: “Ang mahalin ka at makasama ka habang buhay... Love you itchybear." Actress Ritz Azul got engaged to her non-showbiz boyfriend Allan Guwi after he proposed to the actress at a farm in Batangas last June. In a previous interview, Ritz described the moment as "magical."

Former Pinoy Big Brother housemates Tanner Mata and Maria Fabiana got engaged last July. They made the revelation via their social media accounts, with Maria saying, "I said YES," and Tanner gushing, "I know what cloud 9 is now." While not much is known about their relationship, an article from Star Cinema said the couple had been close friends since before their stint on PBB in 2016, as they were under the same modeling agency.

Tears fell as actress Melissa Ricks got engaged to her non-showbiz boyfriend, Michael Macatangay, last August. The proposal happened in Batangas and was witnessed by the couple's family and friends. Melissa first introduced Michael to her social media followers in November 2019.

Last September, actress Empress Shuck made headlines after getting engaged to her non-showbiz partner, Vino Guingona. Rocco proposed to Melissa in an intimate wedding proposal he staged in Hinulugang Taktak in Antipolo City. The two have been together for more than three years. Former child actress and Goin' Bulilit star Trina "Hopia" Legaspi surprised her fans and followers when she announced her engagement to boyfriend Ryan Jarina in November. The proposal took place in a barbershop in Bonifacio Global City. In sharing the news, Hopia said: "Without a doubt, in a heartbeat, I said YES! I can’t wait to marry my first and only love." She and Ryan have been dating for six years.

Celebrity couple Jessy Mendiola and Luis Manzano were the topic for days after announcing that they were engaged last December 12. Leading up to their engagement, the two had clued in fans on the big event as they shared on Instagram a teaser with the date, "12.12.20" or December 12, 2020. In November, Jessy also dropped hints about the engagement when she showed glimpses of what appeared to be a huge diamond ring on her Instagram Stories. The couple celebrated their fourth anniversary together this year.

 

Andi Eigenmann and Philmar Alipayo

Actress Andi Eigenmann and her partner, surfing champ Philmar Alipayo, got engaged last December 20. In her post announcing the big event, Andi said she never thought about how her engagement would go, as she didn't think she'd have one. "It would’ve been okay regardless, but it did happen. And it happened the way I wanted it and so much more. Nothing grand. Unprompted, simple and oh so sincere," she said. The two have a baby daughter named Lilo. They are set to welcome another child next year.

 

Morissette Amon and Dave Lamar

Singer Morissette Amon and her boyfriend Dave Lamar are the latest celebrity couple to announce their engagement. The "Akin Ka Na Lang" hitmaker made the revelation on Instagram, as she posted photos of herself and Dave, with her engagement ring on display.
