Alessandra de Rossi and Empoy Marquez have started filming their much-anticipated reunion movie, Walang Ka-Paris.
The onscreen pair, as well as director Sigrid Andrea P. Bernardo, have been sharing photos from the first leg of their shoot on Instagram.
The project marks the second time Alessandra, Empoy, and Sigrid are working together.
The three first teamed up for the romance-comedy movie Kita Kita three years ago.
In that film, Alessandra played the role of Lea, a tour guide in Japan who goes blind after seeing her fiancé’s infidelity. She later befriends a fellow Filipino, Tonyo—portrayed by Empoy—who is keen to coax her out of the darkness.
In a previous interview, Sigrid clarified that Walang Ka-Paris, which is a co-production between Viva Films and Spring Films, is not a sequel to the 2017 hit.
"This is a totally different story. Alessandra and Empoy will reunite in the city of love—Paris, thus the title Walang Ka-Paris," she said.
No further details regarding the project have been announced as of this writing.
