After auditioning and getting one of the four main lead roles in the upcoming Star Cinema prequel Four Sisters Before the Wedding, Gillian Vicencio said she was so happy to win the part originally played by Angel Locsin in 2013 original. Playing her sisters in the film are Charlie Dizon, Alexa Ilacad, and Belle Mariano.

Before shooting started, Gillian said she went through all the preparations to be ready come shooting day.

Sobrang nakatulong sa akin yung one-on-one session with direk Mae (Cruz Alviar) talaga as in.

Their lock-in shooting set-up was an advantage for Gillian because it helped the cast build a strong bond and also helped her really get into her character.

Pero other than that, younger version talaga ito so kailangan yung youthfulness nung character, pati yung iba’t ibang mga pinagdaanan niya nung 2003, dito siya nabuo,” she said.

Being paired with Joao Constancia in the film was also a good experience for Gillian.

“I loved working with Joao because he’s such a gentleman. Napaka-sweet, napaka-caring and very genuine. Walang pambobola. So of course you know as a girl it’s really flattering. Masarap katrabaho yung ganun and bilang artista, si Joao gustong gusto ko siya kasi he’s very focused. Yun ang pinaka kinatutuwa ko kay Joao. Pagdating sa set, alam niya na it’s time to work, trabaho na ito. Pero pag off set magaling siya. He’s knows how to have fun with the ladies. So perfect balance,” she added.
