Kapamilya star Kathryn Bernardo took on the challenge of answering several questions in a game of “Never Have I Ever” with dermatologist-to-the-stars Aivee Teo.
Among the questions asked were about skincare including ever forgetting to wash off make-up before going to bed at night, pricking pimples on her own, and surviving 24 hours without taking a shower.
In the same vlog, Kathryn answered questions about her personal life including one about ever breaking up with someone or falling in love at first sight. Kathryn answered both questions with “never.”
But perhaps the most controversial question asked during the game was if has she ever undergone cosmetic surgery in the past.
Kathryn — whose nose has long been speculated to have gone cosmetic enhancement — told Aivee to answer the question for her.
“Doc, please pakilinaw naman. Siyempre ‘pag sinabi kong never, sasabihin nila dine-deny ko na naman,” Kathryn said. She added in jest: “Ako, dental surgery. So considered ba ang wisdom tooth removal ko?”
Dr. Aivee — who admitted about often getting asked about Kathryn’s nose — allowed Kathryn to clarify the long-speculated issue with the actress.
“It’s a common question, ha? Parang they would ask me ha ‘Did Kath have her nose done? Kasi her nose is not the same.’ But I would always say ‘No!’ I think it’s a good time to clarify. I think people are asking. And they’re so intrigued,” Dr. Aivee said.
To which Kathryn responded: “No, I swear. Kasi si Doc Aivee ‘di ka naman niya pipilitin if you’re not comfortable with it. And I’m happy with my nose. Siguro when I got thinner and medyo tumanda, kaya siya lumiit.”
Explaining why the shape of Kathryn’s nose got drastically changed from when she was younger, Aivee said: “Kasi when your face gets slimmer, lumalabas ‘yung feature mo. So nag-dedevelop din ‘yung nose as you get older.”
Kathryn then stated: “I swear si Doc Aivee walang ginawa sa nose ko or any any doctors before Doc Aivee just to be clear.”
Commending Kathryn’s courage to finally address the issue, Dr. Aivee said: “That’s nice that it’s coming from you, Kath. Because I think a lot of people are curious and they’re interested to know and they want to know the truth straight from you.”
Kathryn then clarified her view about people getting surgery, saying: “If you want to have a surgery, wala naman ding problem du’n.”

In the said vlog, Kathryn availed of Dr. Aivee’s thermage or a non-invasive radiofrequency treatment believed to “smoothen, tighten and contour skin for an overall younger-looking appearance.”
