If one thing’s for certain, it’s that Dara and CL will forever be there for each other.
Sandara Park had Blackjacks screaming in delight as she shared on social media photos from her recent reunion with fellow 2NE1 member CL.
Dara recently met with CL who marked her comeback with two song releases. The 29-year-old singer is set to release her first-ever solo album this month.
“My dongsaeng [younger sister or friend],” Dara simply wrote in the caption.

Prior to Dara’s hangout sesh with CL, the “Pambansang Krung-Krung ng Pilipinas” joined fans of the 2NE1’s main rapper and leader on the social media app WeVerse. She even referred to herself as “CEO of CL fans.”

CL also performed “HWA” on the Late Late Show with James Corden — showcasing the beauty of the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Seoul, South Korea.
On releasing her new album, she told James Corden: “I’ve been a performer for as long as I can remember. But this is my first album so I’m excited about that. That I can be creative and free and share my music and performance for my fans, finally.”
CL and Sandara’s friendship go way back as the two have spent a lot of times together during their days as part of 2NE1.
In 2015, CL moved to the US to pursue a solo career — teaming up with foreign acts such as Diplo and Lil Yachty and going on tours across North America.
She made her Hollywood debut as an actress in 2018 through the Mark Walhberg-starrer action-thriller film Mile 22.
Three years after her 2NE1’s disbandment, CL parted ways with YG Entertainment and released her solo EP In The Name of Love.
Meanwhile, Dara is busy releasing vlogs on YouTube. She recently celebrated a milestone as she reached one million subscribers on YouTube.
Composed of Bom, CL, Dara, and Minzy, 2NE1 debuted under YG Entertainment in 2009. The group released successful hits such as “I Am The Best,” “COME BACK HOME,” and “FIRE.”
2NE1 disbanded in 2016.
