With his BL web series Gameboys being available online since May, Kokoy de Santos said he is already expecting people to compare it to the upcoming release of his new six-episode series Oh, Mando! which was filmed even before the pandemic started earlier this year.
Pero ready naman, wala namang masama eh (laughs),” he shared during the Oh, Mando mediacon earlier this month.
Being paired onscreen with Alex Diaz for the first time was also a fun experience for the 22-year-old actor.
Known for taking on different roles, Kokoy said he does not discriminate the gender of the characters he gets to play and wants to pave his own unique career path.
Even though he is in a heterosexual relationship at the moment, Kokoy said he hopes that viewers of Oh, Mando! can have a wider understanding of the concept of love after watching the series. “Love is love is love and mapa-romantic way or kaibigan mo, mahalin mo lang kasi pare-pareho lang naman tayo. Bakit mo pipigilan di ba? Tao lang naman tayo eh,” he added.
Watch the original Dreamscape Entertainment and Found films BL series Oh, Mando! with a new episode coming out every Thursday at 9 pm on iWant TFC. Oh, Mando! also stars Barbie Imperial and Alex Diaz and is directed by Eduardo Roy.
