"He's worth the wait."
These were the words of KZ Tandingan, as she shared how she waited to meet her now husband TJ Monterde.
TJ is the singer’s first and last boyfriend.
According to the singer, it took a while before she got into a relationship.
The singer added that because of God’s grace, she did not feel that the wait had been long.
“Ang kagandahan ng power ng Panginoon is He can compress time. So 'yung lahat pala nung time na 'yon na feeling ko na lose ko na kasi ang tagal kong naghintay sa perfect na tao, kinompress Niya 'yon and after we got married parang hindi ko na feel na ang tagal kong naghintay. Parang he's worth the wait,” the singer stated.
KZ and TJ got married in Batangas on August 28.
"Maalaga na siya before kami ikasal. Pero nung ikinasal kami mas lalo siyang maalaga," KZ shared.

Meanwhile, TJ remarked that they are very happy about their decision to get married amid the pandemic.
"Sobrang saya as super happy na everyday magkasama na kami at sabay na mag-breakfast, lunch, dinner. ...Very happy at na-prove namin na tama' yung desisyon namin na magpakasal kahit mayroong pandemic," TJ said.
It was just this October when KZ revealed that she already got married to TJ.
“God finally made our 'Puhon' (someday) a reality. With only a handful of people and our families attending through Zoom, we held our symbolic wedding under a 300 hundred-year-old mango tree," KZ shared on Instagram last October.
“We didn’t think we could get married this year because our families are in Mindanao and couldn’t fly in. But our folks being the selfless, understanding, and amazing parents they are, encouraged us to get wed," she added.
