After releasing her latest single “Faithful” this week with veteran songwriter Cecile Azarcon, singer Alisah Bonaobra admitted that recording her new song this year was a very different experience from recording songs before.

Nung nag-record kami during pandemic na yun so before we entered the recording studio, we are required to do a temperature check sa guard and then nagsulat ng declaration form and then alcohol sa kamay and then pagpunta namin sa mismong recording studio we have to wear a mask. Ako po tatanggalin ko kasi kakanta ako pero I’m in a separate room naman. So naka-mask lahat ng tao sa loob ng studio at naka-face shield din sila at the same time para fully safe ang lahat. Sobrang ibang iba yung experience kapag mag-re-record before pandemic kasi imbis na dire-diretso ka na sa studio, may mga kailangan ka pang gawin before you enter the premises of the recording studio. Pero we have to adapt and challenge accepted naman talaga,” she explained.

The 25-year-old artist said that she actually started getting anxiety attacks during the pandemic.

“Actually yung anxiety attack ko kasi is since nag-pandemic kasi hindi naman natin maikakaila na lahat tayo dumaan sa point na hanggang kailan yung ganito, paano na? Tulad namin as a singer and as a performer, our job consists of crowds.

The “Faithful” singer reveals how she was able to cope with her anxiety with help from her furbabies at home.

“I have 13 cats and 5 dogs.
