Actress-host KC Concepcion continues to extend aid to those who have been affected or displaced by the typhoons that recently struck the country.
On Instagram over the weekend, KC announced that she was auctioning off her pre-loved items online, with proceeds going to World Wildlife Fund Philippines' (WWF-PH) "Project Silong", which aims to help rebuild the lives of Filipino fishermen who have lost their boats, homes, and livelihood in the recent back-to-back typhoons Rolly and Ulysses.
"Provide immediate relief and help our fishing communities rebuild their lives by purchasing any preloved item from my closet tonight until Wednesday! Fresh drop + Live bidding starts at 7pm!" she said.
Among the items she put up for sale through her account KC's closet were gowns, dresses, and corsets.
Aside from selling her pre-owned clothes, KC has also sold items from her own jewelry line Avec Moi to help raise funds for typhoon relief efforts in the country.
After selling her on-hand pieces, KC said she and her team are now working on made-to-order jewelry.
"My lean team and I are overwhelmed by the inquiries for our three Avec Moi Jewelry made-to-order designs that are dedicated to charity," she said in an Instagram post.
According to the actress, "a big portion of all proceeds" from orders will go toward relief operations for those affected by typhoon Ulysses.
She added that they are working with WWF-PH and the Kaya Natin movement for the purchases.
Last week, KC also made headlines after visiting Tuguegarao to personally distribute relief goods for the affected families in Cagayan, which was among the worst-hit areas by the Typhoon Ulysses.
