Karla Estrada shared that Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo were on their way home from a shoot while Typhoon Ulysses was wreaking havoc.
According to Karla, the couple had just wrapped up shooting the last episode of The House Arrest of Us in Batangas that time.
"Ang KathNiel kasi ay nasa Batangas pa para sa last episode ng The House Arrest of Us. So mga 12 midnight natapos sila. Kaya lang hindi pupuwede kasi lahat uuwi," Karla shared on Magandang Buhay on Friday, November 13.
Karla relayed that she was very anxious while KathNiel was on the road knowing that a strong storm was hammering many areas.
"So itong KathNiel on their way home, ala-una, alas-dos, kasagsagan ng lakas ng bagyo eh talagang daig ko pa ang MMDA na monitoring talaga. Ang hirap kasi kahit sabihin natin na bakit 'di mo pinag-stay and all 'eh kasi may bagyo rin doon.' So parang hindi ko na alam. Kinailangan nilang bumalik," Karla stated.
Thankfully, KathNiel safely reached their home past 3 a.m. amid the storm.
Meanwhile, amid devastating effects of the typhoon, Karla shared how she plans to help her fellow Filipinos.
Typhoon Ulysses brought widespread flooding in many areas in Quezon Province, National Capital Region, CALABARZON, Cagayan province, and Central Luzon, among others as it traversed different areas since it made its landfall in Patnanungan town in Quezon on Wednesday, November 11.
