Amid the widespread flooding that affected many families across the National Capital Region, singer-vlogger Donnalyn Bartolome donated rescue boats to Marikina and Rizal to aid in the rescue operations.

On Thursday, November 12, Donnalyn announced on social media that she was looking for volunteers to operate the rescue boats she was buying.

"MARIKINA and RIZAL residents sino ang gusto magvolunteer for rescue? Marunong magsagwan at lumangoy, kahit magbayad ako. I’m buying boats na so let me know asap! Need na ng help ng barangays dahil lagi na busy ang lines nila. God help those who need you please please,"  she posted.

Moments later, Donnalyn shared that she already bought the boats and the items are already on the way to Rizal and Marikina.

"We got big boats in a truck on the way to Rizal and Marikina," Donnaln shared on her Facebook page on Thursday, November 12.

She added, "Rescuers are complete. Marikina* resident rescuers for Marikina* and Rizal Chairman will lead rescue for Rizal. They’ll just send proof of proper use ng boats solely for rescuing people and animals. THANK YOU for helping me find rescuers. I don’t know anyone from the areas affected so I really needed it. Rest your hearts, we’ll get through this."

A few hours later, Donnalyn relayed that the boats were already delivered to Montalban, Rizal and that she was already on her way to Marikina.
