Global sensation Ava Max, who is behind hits like "Sweet But Psycho," "So Am I," and "Not Your Barbie Girl," among others, is out with a debut album titled Heaven & Hell.

In her exclusive interview with the online show Push Bets Live, Ava said that her new album is about "the rollercoaster of life we grow through in our careers, our relationships, feeling like you're torn between the two."

Ava described working on this album as "extremely fun." "I was in a different country with almost every song that I was recording and writing for the album and I finished it before the pandemic so it was nice to have that. But you know, we pushed it back and I think it was the perfect time," she added.

One of Ava's songs in the album, “Naked”, had a music video directed by Hannah Lux Davis who has worked with other huge artists like Ariana Grande and Doja Cat. Working with the director was "really fun" said Ava. She added, "The set was really, really cool and it's awesome that she's a woman that we could collaborate together as women. And it's like it just felt really cool to work for such a talented director, and she really wanted me to be just me and naked and vulnerable."

Meanwhile, Ava said that it has been a wild two years following the success of her hit single "Sweet But Psycho." The song, released in 2018, continues to be recognized globally, hitting billions of streams on music platforms. When asked if she has plans to collaborate with any artist in the future, Ava expressed interest to work with K-pop sensation BLACKPINK, among others. "Yeah, I mean, I would love to collaborate with a lot of artists like BLACKPINK. I love BLACKPINK, I think they're incredible. Doja Cat's awesome, Lizzo's awesome," she said.

Ava relayed that fans should watch out for more surprises from her before the year ends.
