South Korean cable television JTBC confirmed that Jung Hae-in would be joining Blackpink’s Jisoo for a new drama created by the same people behind the top-rating show “Sky Castle,” Hankook Ilbo confirmed.
Earlier today, October 5, JTBC announced that it has added Jung Hae-in, Jang Seung-jo, Yoon Se-ah, and Jung Yoo-jin to the list of stars who will be starring in a new drama called “Snowdrop.”
The new series, which would be set in 1987 Seoul, will follow the love story of a young guy who grew up in Germany named Im Soo-ho (portrayed by Jung Hae-in) and a cheerful young girl named Eun Young-cho (played by Jisoo). The two meet after accidentally running into each other at a female dorm.

Kim Hye-yoon is also part of the same drama.
Jung Hae-in is best known for his roles in “While You Were Sleeping,” “Prison Playbook,” and the 2018 drama “Something in the Rain” where he starred alongside Son Ye-jin. He came to Manila in 2019 for a fan meeting titled “A Summer Night.”

Meanwhile, Jisoo is a member of one of the biggest K-Pop girl groups in the world today, Blackpink. She has previously appeared in the 2019 series “Arthdal Chronicles” co-produced by Netflix and tvN. She has visited the Philippines for numerous occasions including a concert and a fan meeting.
