She surprised her social media followers with her remarkable weight loss last July.
And on Sunday, October 4, singing champion Elha Nympha opened up about her weight loss journey in an interview with Toni Gonzaga for "I Feel U," including how her boyfriend, Star Music artist Brian Gazmen, helped her achieve her fitness goals.
Aside from going on a low-carb diet, Elha said she stays fit by working out twice or thrice a day.
According to Elha, it was Brian who inspired her to lose weight and live a more active and healthier lifestyle.
It was last August when Brian first revealed their romance by sharing photos of Elha and addressing her as the love of his life.
The two met on the set of morning talk show "Magandang Buhay" on Valentine's Day.
"He’s 20 po. Naging friends po kami and then nag-hangout tapos na-meet namin yung best friend ko and then nagkaroon po ng squad.
Asked what made her agree to be Brian's girlfriend, Elha said: “Yung patience niya po kasi and yung tiyaga niya po.”
Elha shot to fame after winning the second season of “The Voice Kids” in 2015.
She was later dubbed the “Philippines' Big Shot Belter” after appearing on both the American and Philippine edition of "Little Big Shots."
Elha, 16, is part of the girl group J.E.Z., which debuted in 2019, together with fellow talent show winners Janine Berdin (“Tawag ng Tanghalan”) and Zephanie Dimaranan (“Idol Philippines”).
