Sandara Park visited a Filipino food market in Seoul, South Korea recently. She documented her trip in her latest YouTube vlog.
"Right now I am headed to a Philippine market. The very place I only heard about. I'm going there with producer Shin," she stated in the video.
While on the way to the market, Sandara said that she was wondering if people at the Filipino market will recognize her.
"Let's see if people there will recognize me. Because occasionally those who live abroad when they were younger and didn't have access to Philippine TV programs don't know me," she shared.
Upon arriving at the market, the Korean star was very elated to see her favorite Philippine-made soy bean paste, corned beef, and tocino on display.
Sandara also ate Filipino-style spaghetti and other dishes at the market.
"The sauces and method of cooking can be very different depending on the restaurant," she told Shin.
Sandara Park rose to popularity in the Philippines while becoming a runner-up of the reality television competition Star Circle Quest in 2004. She appeared in several ABS-CBN programs and headlined blockbuster hit movies.
She returned to South Korea in 2007 and later on signed a contract with YG Entertainment and pursued a career in the entertainment industry there. She later debuted as part of the girl group 2NE1.
