Doug and Cheska Kramer gave awards to their children for their accomplishments in the homeschooling year that transpired.
The proud parents presented their children Gavin, Scarlett, and Kendra with the "Fruits of the Spirit Awards."
"Even though there are restrictions to this new normal, it doesn't mean we can't recognize our kids' efforts for the past homeschooling year. So we did a little surprise for them, which I vlogged and will release later today, and it included a little awarding ceremony to affirm them of the good character they've exhibited throughout the year. The fruits of the spirit awards!" Doug said on his Instagram page.
Doug added that his kids are now moving to another year level. He said, "Gavin graduated from Kinder to Grade 1. Scarlett moved up from Grade 3 to 4. Kendra moved up from Grade 5 to 6."
The former basketball athlete remarked that he is grateful that he gets to guide his kids through this homeschooling setup.
"So blessed to spend time with our kids, to mold their character and allow them to flourish in this set up!" he said.
Meanwhile, Cheska took to Instagram to share her reflection on being able to be a teacher to her kids.

"What a blessing to be able to raise and teach my children! It is hard work that requires a lot of heart work but so rewarding! What a responsibility and a privilege at the same time- to be able to mold them most especially in character!" she stated.
According to Cheska, they decided to give their children awards to remind them that they do appreciate their efforts and hard work.
"We decided to award you three with the Fruit of The Spirit award to let you know that we see you, and want to encourage and motivate you guys to keep going. Keep exuding these traits as you continue to honor, obey and trust God. I love you my children @clairkendrakramer25 @scarlettlouvellekramer and @gavinkramer!
I am so proud of the three of you!" she wrote.
The couple also extended their gratitude to Cheska's fellow homeschooling teacher.
"I take no credit in their academic progression, that's all @chekakramer and teacher @raycynenriquez! So proud of everyone!" Doug said.
"Thank you to my partner in the classroom @raycynenriquez," Cheska said.
