Miss Universe Philippines pageant organizers apologize to online viewers for technical problems during their livestream from Baguio City.

After experiencing technical difficulties during the streaming during the first day of the 2020 Miss Universe Philippines Q & A Special last October 21, the pageant released an official statement why their 4-part special got off a rocky start. 

They wrote,

“We thank you for your overwhelming support for Miss Universe Philippines.


We recognize that many of you experienced technical difficulties tonight in watching the q&a portion of the preliminaries. Upon investigation, we found out that our site has been attacked by unknown sources.

However, this is not an excuse as we are committed to giving you the best Miss Universe Philippines viewing experience. As such, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and ask for your patience and understanding.

We would like to assure you that we are working double time to make sure that your viewing experience will be prompt, uninterrupted, and enjoyable in the coming days.

As of 11:00pm, our site is up and running. For everyone who was not able to view tonight's interview earlier, rest assured we will honor your subscription.

Meanwhile, we urge everyone to report to us those who have been illegally streaming the video on Facebook as this is a copyrighted material.

Thank you very much!”

 

 

Viewers can watch the 2020 Miss Universe Philippines pageant via the Ring Light series on empire.ph for a one-time fee of P299 for Philippine residents and $6 for viewers abroad. The 2020 Miss Universe Philippines grand finale night will be held on October 25, Sunday at 10:30 am Philippine time.
