He couldn't be happier with his current relationship.

But not a lot of people know that before finding love and happiness with his non-showbiz girlfriend, former child star Zaijian Jaranilla, now 19, experienced getting his heart broken because of a failed past relationship.

The young actor's personal life came up during his recent interview with Toni Gonzaga for the digital talk show I Feel U.

Asked how he was able to overcome his heartbreak, Zaijian said: “Hindi ko na po inisip, tapos 'yung mga kaibigan ko, sobrang suporta nila sa akin.

Zaijian also shared the biggest lesson he learned from that experience.

“Natutunan ko po na sobrang dali lang po palang ma-in love pero mahirap mag-stay in love,” he said.

Now, Zaijian is happily in love with a non-showbiz girl whom he has been dating for more than a year already.

As a boyfriend, Zaijian admitted that he's not too showy.

During the interview, Zaijian, who rose to fame after playing Santino in the 2009 series May Bukas Pa, also shared his love advice to other teens his age.

Dadating naman 'yung right person para sa 'yo,” he said.

Zaijian appeared on I Feel U to promote his upcoming film Boyette (Not A Girl, Yet), where he will play a gay character.

Zaijian will be joined by Maris Racal, Inigo Pascual, Jairus Aquino, and Dominic Ochoa in the coming-of-age film directed by Jumbo Albano, the writer of the blockbuster films Gandarrapiddo! The Revenger Squad and The Mall, The Merrier starring Vice Ganda.

Boyette (Not A Girl, Yet) will be available on KTX.ph, iWant TFC, Sky Cable, and Cignal. A premiere date for the film has yet to be announced.
