Taking a break from her usual cooking vlogs, Marjorie Barretto reunited with one of her closest friends in showbiz to go for a more personal video.
For her latest vlog, the 48-year-old TV and online personality released a Q&A vlog with ‘90s actress Joy Ortega as her special guest.
Marjorie, who met Joy while filming Alabang Girls in 1992, said she’s one of the few people who know her on a deep, personal level.
I celebrated my 46th birthday yesterday, and my kids went all out to make me feel EXTRA special in every way... from treating me to all the food that ive been craving for, and gathering video greetings from my family and close friends that made me laugh and cry so much❤️ This birthday was different, quiet and intimate... it was PRICELESS. Thank you to all those who went out of their way to greet me, sent me food, flowers and gifts, to those who sent me beautiful messages, i felt so loved. It is during these times that one realizes who and what really matters in our lives. I will remember each one of you, i will keep you in my heart.❤️
According to Marjorie, Joy was her go-to friend when she was carrying her eldest child Dani in her womb.
Answering questions about how well they know each other, Marjorie and Joy shared the craziest thing they did together.
Going on a trip down memory lane, Marjorie revealed that she once went to a bar wearing only her pajamas to catch her ex-boyfriend cheating on her.
“The craziest thing we did was when we tried to catch our ex-boyfriends cheating in pajamas. We go to the disco [and] we stalked outside the bar,” Marjorie said.
“That was Euphoria. I didn’t know you then. Marjorie used to ride the Nissan California na Black. In her night gown, she was stalking someone to make huli,” Joy said.
Marjorie added: “To make huli my boyfriend coming out with another girl. We were both in our pantulog, no tint.”
Marjorie said she learned how to drive through various attempts to catch her cheating ex-boyfriends through the years.
“Natuto akong mag-drive sa kakasunod sa boyfriend na nagloloko,” she said.
Then again, Joy and Marjorie said they weren’t able to catch the guy they were looking for that time.
“We didn’t see him that night,” Joy said. To which Marjorie responded: “No we didn’t. It was just delusional.”
