“How time flies!”

This was what Jinkee Pacquiao had to say about her daughter Mary Divine Grace — better known as Princess — as the latter turned 14 last October 1.

For her latest vlog, Jinkee decided to share behind-the-scene footage from Princess’ 14th birthday celebration attended by some of their closest family and friends.

Both Senator and boxing champ Manny and mommy Jinkee Pacquaio gave birthday messages to their daughter.

“To my baby Princess, happy birthday. We wish you all the best and more birthdays to come in your life. And may the Lord give you wisdom as you grow older. Thank you for being a good daughter for us. You always obey your parents,” Manny said.

He went on: “Thank you for the love also to your mom and of course, to your dad. I will be here to support you. We’re always praying for you guys — for your future. Don’t forget to put God in the center of your life.”

Manny reminded his daughter that the most important thing in the world is not money or material things but rather faith in God.

“Ang maituro ko lang sa inyo is magbasa palagi ng bible, mag-memorize ng mga verses and scriptures to help us grow our faith and relationship to God. That’s the most important thing, not material things, hindi pera or anything else in this world,” he stated.

Princess’ grandmother Dionisia Pacquaio also wished her granddaughter a happy birthday. “Ang wish ko lang sa’yo anak, ingat ka. Ingatan niyo palagi ang katawan niyo. Lalo na sa pag-aaaral mo. Mag-study ka palagi. Tapusin mo ang pag-aaral.”

Asked how she feels about the birthday surprise, Princess said: “Na-surprise ako actually sa birthday ko kasi ‘yung mga decorations. Thankful lang ako na nandito kayo lahat, na nakapag-birthday [party] ako kahit may COVID-19.”

Meanwhile, Jinkee said she’s happy her daughter got to celebrate her birthday amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Kahit na may COVID-19 pandemic ngayon, nakukuha pa rin nating mag-celebrate kasi nga special na daughter si Princess sa amin. Pero mga friends and family lang naman na mga sino gusto pumunta. Okay lang. At least masaya tayo, nag-celebrate tayo kahit pandemic, ‘di ba?
