Assunta de Rossi could not help but share her excitement with her fans as she enters the final month of her last trimester.
In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Ocober 14, the 37-year-old actress shared another sonogram of her "miracle baby."
"Another check-up today. Si Fiore as usual, nagtatago na naman. Naku, maldita!" she wrote in the caption.
"It’s OK. Pretty soon, I’ll see her face-to-face. I’ve waited for her almost 20 years, ano ba naman yung ilang araw pa? I love you, my tiny bloom!" she added.
It was last May when Assunta announced that she is expecting her first child with Jules Ledesma, her husband of almost 18 years.
In an Instagram post, Assunta, who was on her 14th week of pregnancy at that time, shared that she went to see her doctor last March 5 after she missed her monthly period.
“An ultrasound scan and blood test confirmed later that day that I was about 5 weeks pregnant. I know, shocking!” she said.
“Getting pregnant the natural way with myoma and endometriosis (which I both have) is extremely difficult. Only medical intervention or a miracle can make it happen. This was a miracle!” she added.
Speaking with PUSH, Assunta said her pregnancy journey has been quite challenging.
“I’m stuck in bed all day, feeling horrible. Nausea and dizziness are my enemies these days. I can't even gain weight kasi hirap akong kumain. Pinipilit ko naman, saka I take vitamins. I do miss being active, but my body feels overworked. Minsan late na ako nakakaligo kasi tulog nga ako maghapon. I remember during the early stages of my pregnancy, constipation almost killed me. So I changed my diet. Sa mga nakakaranas nito, damihan lang ang fiber, cut back on white carbs, and drink prune juice," she shared.
"Pregnancy is not at all glamorous, but it's the most beautiful miracle," she said.
