After the non-renewal of ABS-CBN’s radio and television franchise earlier this year, celebrities from the Kapamilya network have understandably started looking for opportunities to work in other networks. But for “Apollo: A Daniel Padilla Digital Experience” singer Daniel Padilla, it is not an option for him and girlfriend Kathryn Bernardo. DJ admitted they both approached the ABS-CBN bosses last July to offer their help.
“Yes that’s true. It’s not just ABS-CBN kasi siyempre yung binigay nila sa akin trinabaho ko ng maigi. So it’s a give and take. I can wait. Puwede akong maghintay,” he said during the Apollo: A Daniel Padilla Digital Experience virtual presscon held last October 6.
DJ said he has faith that his home network will regain its footing in the industry in the near future. “It’s not the end of me kapag lumipat na ako or something. Kasama nila akong naghihintay. and now I think there’s news na babalik na tayo. Parang it’s the least we can do for them,” he added.
