Showbiz website PEP.ph reported the news Sunday evening, citing Lito was rushed to Cardinal Santos Memorial Medical Center after suffering cardiac arrest and was pronounced dead at around 10 a.m.
He left behind his estranged wife, Hershey Legaspi, and sons Zoren, Kier, and Brando
His wake will be held at Loyola Memorial Funeral Homes in Marikina City.
Lito began his acting career in 1959 and later rose to fame as one of the matinee idols of Sampaguita Pictures.
He was last seen on the Kapamilya network as a guest star in “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” in 2017.
