Unknown to many, Moira Dela Torre is currently into baking cookies and making truffle balls.
In an exclusive interview on the sidelines of the presscon for her highly-anticipated appearance at the #Hueniverse Music Festival, Moira shared how her flourishing business all came to be.
Dela Torre, whose cookies she called "Cookie Ni Moira" and truffle balls she named "Balls ni Jason," came into existence out of boredom.
"It started during the summer. For Christmas, binigyan ako ni Jason ng KitchenAid. Tapos hindi ko siya magamit until may nangyari sa akin health-wise and I had to go on a bed rest. And so bored na bored ako sa bahay. I found the KitchenAid and I learned how to bake," she explained.
Although the award-winning songstress is busy with her career in the music scene, she makes sure to give her newfound love the time it deserves.
"'Pag sinisipag," she said, chuckling. "Usually 'pag bazaars. And then now, sa mga events.
While she has yet to put up a store to sell her baked goodies, Moira revealed she plans to have a cafe of her own in the future.
"Well, my dream talaga, the end goal is to put up a cafe. That's my dream. And so, I'll start one thing on the menu and until the time na mabuo ko siya. And I will put it out," she stated.
In a previous interview on Magandang Buhay, Moira revealed that she had to refrain from doing strenuous activities.
It then led her to experiment in the kitchen and eventually learn how to bake.
